FAQ
What is the minimum age?
By law, you can get tattoos from the age of 18 and from the age of 16 with the permission and presence of a parent. My personal choice is not to tattoo people under the age of 18, even if a parent gives permission.
How long do I have to wait for an appointment?
Depending on how busy the period is, the waiting time will vary between 2 to 6 weeks. If you want a small tattoo, you are more likely to be able to book an appointment quickly.
How do I make an appointment?
You can find all the information to book an appointment here.
What do I bring to my appointment?
✴︎Loose, comfortable and preferably black clothing.
✴︎Something to keep you busy if you want (podcast, music, book,…)
✴︎You can bring one person, but please let us know in advance.
✴︎ If your appointment lasts longer than 2 hours, bring something to eat and drink.
✴︎ Cash. As we don’t have digital payment options.
Can I view my design in advance?
That’s certainly possible. You can book an extra consultation one week before your tattoo appointment to view your design in the tattoo shop. However, this is only possible by appointment, so mention this immediately when booking your tattoo appointment.
What tattoo styles do you do?
In recent years I have specialized in ornamental, blackwork, dotwork and fineline tattoos. I also really enjoy making botanical and abstract tattoos. You can find examples here.
Are there tattoos you don’t do?
✴︎ I only do tattoos that fit my style and that I know I can perform well. You can always propose your idea to me and if it is not my specialty I will refer you to the right artist.
✴︎ I don’t do tattoos on the face or ears.
✴︎ With finger tattoos I only tattoo the top part of the finger: the part closest to the palm. I don’t do the bottom part closest to the nail, because the skin here is more fragile and I cannot guarantee that the tattoo will heal nicely here. Same with tattoos on the toes.
Why do I have to pay a deposit?
To avoid working hours on creating a unique design for nothing and to reserve your spot in the studio, I request a deposit in advance. This will of course be deducted from the total price on the day of your appointment.
If you don’t show up without notice, you will lose your deposit. Please let me know at least one week in advance and we will reschedule your appointment without losing your deposit.
If you are ill and therefore cannot come at the last minute, please let me know as soon as possible and we will reschedule your appointment without losing your deposit.
